Both songwriters deliver introspective and authentic lyrics laid over dynamic instrumentation, inviting you in to soak up the stories brought to the stage. Come for a night of original music, including new songs from Southey's upcoming full-length LP, Entertainers Bring May Flowers, out everywhere May 16, 2024.
About the artists
ANDREW BENTHAM-RILEY delivers an authentic singer-songwriter experience with his anecdotal lyrical style - sharing a narrative of his own life, an assorted batch of tales from the road, love, loss, and lessons learned along the way. Andrew pairs these stories with tastefully crafted guitar parts wearing his influences for all to see while continuing to find better days through music.
ALEX SOUTHEY's dreamy indie rock lives at the intersection of shoegaze and folk. Fusing these disparate genres together with cerebral, emotionally insightful songwriting, he is one of the most authentic and endearing voices in this generation of Canadian indie musicians. His next full-length LP, Entertainers Bring May Flowers, is out everywhere May 16, 2024.
